PhD - How to apply

PhD courses are three years duration, and admission to PhD programs is through public selection. Adequate dissemination of examination proceedings is ensured on the University website. The PhD courses are open, without limits of age or citizenship, to those who will graduate by the deadline of October 31 of the same year, have graduated in Italy,  and those who have graduated from foreign universities (the PhD selection committee will determine the equivalence of the degree obtained abroad). Each PhD course has a single mode of candidate selection, based on the evaluation of qualifications, supplemented by the assessment of proposed research projects and/or a written test and/or an oral test or a combined choice between these modes. The admission criteria, evaluation of qualifications and tests are detailed in the announcement. The admission tests may be conducted in a foreign language other than Italian, including computer and electronic tools suitable for verifying the candidate's identity.
